EVALUASI DAN PENANGGULANGAN LOSS CIRCULATION PADA PEMBORAN SUMUR PANAS BUMI “Z”

Abstract
Penelitian ini berisi tentang salah satu masalah yang terjadi pada pemboran sumur panas bumi yaitu losscirculation. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi dan menganalisis penanggulangan terjadinya masalah pemboran losscirculation yang mungkin dapat lebih efektif dilakukan di lapangan. Jenis penelitian ini berupa penelitian lapangan (case study). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data-data sumur panas bumi Z. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan memperoleh data laporan tentang sumur panas bumi Z di PT. Pertamina Geothermal Energy Area Sibayak. Berdasarkan analisis data pada penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa loss circulation yang terjadi pada sumur disebabkan oleh jenis formasinya yang banyak terdapat rekahan alami, sehingga pada waktu pemboran menembus formasi yang terdapat rekahan alami lumpur pemboran akan hilang atau masuk ke dalam formasi.
